Sinosphere is a student-run research journal affiliated with the 21st Century China Center at the UC San Diego, School of Global Policy and Strategy. Our publication focuses on original graduate student research on Chinese domestic policy, national security, and foreign affairs in order to improve graduate student participation on these important topics.
The Journal is an annual publication, which accepts quantitative or qualitative research from graduate students around the world. Papers are reviewed by the editorial staff and a faculty review board using a blind process. The submissions window for the 2021 edition has officially closed. Submissions have now entered the first stage of the evaluation process. Check back for updates!
Please visit this page again in Fall 2021 if you are interested in submitting your paper for the 2022 journal. Guidelines can be found under the submissions page. If you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com.
“Knowledge and understanding on what China is doing in the field of technology and national security is still lacking, so it is imperative that the new generations of analysts and scholars are well trained and encouraged to engage in original research and thinking because China, during the course of their future careers, is going to be very different from the present and past.”
