China’s Long Road from Revolution to Reform

As a part of the fall Webinar Series, the 21st Century China Center has invited Yale historian Odd Arne Westad to present a broad history of China in the 1970s from his forthcoming book (co-authored with Chen Jian) and reflect on the legacies of the reform era, and the impact on U.S.-China relations today. The talk will be moderated by UC San Diego professors of history Robert Edelman and Karl Gerth.
