China Research Workshop: The Distributional Effects of China’s Economic Assistance

This online workshop features the research of Dong Zhang 張冬, an Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. The discussion will focus on answering the following research question: how does an authoritarian donor’s domestic political economy shape its aid practices? In pursuing this question, Dr. Zhang specifically analyzes the case of China.
