Qing Yin

Qing is a Master of International Affairs student at UCSD’s School of Global Policy and Strategy, with a regional focus on China and dual specializations in International Management and Environmental Governance. He graduated from the University of California San Diego as an undergraduate with a bachelor’s degree in the International Studies Program: History with a regional specialization in East Asia and a sub-specialization in Political Science. Qing’s research interests include environmentally sustainable development, Chinese climate policy, and carbon-neutral energy solutions.
Michelle Lai

Michelle is a second-year MCEPA student at the School of Global Policy and Strategy. She graduated from the University of Washington in 2020 with a double major in International Studies and Asian Studies. Her research interests include US-Chinese relations, Chinese international economics, and China’s international public image.
GianCarlo Samayoa

GianCarlo is a trilingual second-year Master of Chinese Economic and Political Affairs student at the University of California San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy, and a UCSD undergraduate alumnus with a double major bachelor’s degree in Political Science – International Relations and in Chinese Studies. He is currently specializing in Chinese Foreign Relations and Security and in Chinese Environment. His current research interests include modern day and 20th century Chinese Pollution, US-China relations, and Public Transportation.
Zhuohan Fang

Zhuohan Fang is a Master of Chinese Economics and Political Affairs student at UCSD’s School of Global Policy and Strategy. She graduated from Zhejiang University with a BA in Agricultural Economy Management. Her research interests include but are not limited in international development, domestic industrial policy, and manufacture upgrading in global market.
